Just over a month before departure!

Finalized all three COVID tests we'll be needing for the trip:

1. To enter Dubai we'll need a test 72 hours prior to the last leg of the trip. I've done a ton of research on this as most places such as Emirate's website, the UAE embassy site etc say 72 hour prior to departure. But SQ's website and official notice through IATA say before last leg to Dubai. Not risking it so have a test booked within that time frame. Was a pain to find a place I felt comfortable with, that guarantees results in the time frame we need in the Sacramento area. Settled on using City Health's COVID testing site that is at SMF. Chatted with them and they said if we test first thing in the morning we'll get results that night, guarantee is within 30 hours. We have 31.5 hours between the test and when we leave for SFO. As a backup I have an appointment at the rapid PCR testing facility at SFO for late in the day we leave.
2. For the Maldives need a PCR test 96 hours prior to departure. We land in Dubai just within that window, so wanted to get the test over as soon as possible. Booked an in-hotel room test through Al Tadawi Medical Center the evening we arrive. Was super easy to book with a message through WhatsApp. Only $160 AED per person. Results in 24 hours.
3. To get back home to the US we'll be using eMed's online rapid test. Nervous about this choice with the long wait people have been experiencing, but it seems like eMed has resolved this over the past week. As a back up the resort can do PCR tests.
