How many miles do you need? The AC Japan bonus is not status miles so they won't do you any good. If you want Q miles for cheap, then your best bet is to go to SIN on UA. That should get you close to 19K. Or if you want something different from SIN, consider a YYC/SYD on AC, they have some incredible sale fares on right now (just over $1000 which is a bargain for this route), that would net you 16K or so.
