This may be a dumb question….

Is this 2.5 hour cut-off defined as the gate-to-gate time?

On my last few flights, I’ve noticed that the in-flight announcements always refer to the “flying time” — which is usually about 20 minutes less than ‘departure time to arrival time’.

YYC to LAS is, I think, just over 2.5 hours gate-to-gate but under 2.5 hours in flying time. Does Premium on that route get the full meal, or does it get the short-flight-snack instead?
