We have been treated very well by the hotel as a Platinum (the first time we stayed there) and as a Titanium Lifetime Elite (the second) and I think in general this is one of the best hotels for elite treatment. Surprised they gave you as much as they did if you are Silver but sometimes we just get lucky and this makes those trips even more memorable.
yeah-- I felt like I had hit the jackpot, and the upgrade definitely made the trip more memorable. As for the living room, I did interact with the concierge multiple times while I was in the living room area (and she knew who I was and which room I was in , etc) and she never mentioned anything, so I assumed all was well. Possibly they were just being nice, or possibly they decided to extend the benefit given that the occupancy seemed low while we were there. As I mentioned above, mistake or not, the upgrade did have a positive for the property as not only do I now plan to return, but I'll spring for a villa when we return since I enjoyed the experience so much.
