Was coming from BNA, but all is resolved now. Agent relented after conferring with someone else and booked him to HOU. Was going to pay the extra points and then raise holy hell afterwards if they did not given 2 weeks ago I had a cancelled AA flight to MTJ and they were much more accommodating than WN was this morning. Since AA couldn't get me to MTJ on any other flights that day, they proactively said "what other airports would work?" I not only got rebooked 60 miles away to GJT without question, they also accommodated my request to return from there as well, without hesitation, when I realized there were no rental car agencies that would let me rent a last minute GJT-MTJ one way for my trip.
