Here's another one. On the 22nd, I was booked on a YYC-YYZ redeye so I could connect to YYZ-YCD. I was also booked on the return YCD-YYZ. All separate PNRs.
Overnight, the YYC-YYZ has disappeared. I haven't had a chance to have the concierge look in to it yet, but I presume it was yet another Amadeus auto-cancellation.
I had no flights booked on the 21st, and there was no conflict between that redeye and anything else.
What I wonder is whether the system was somehow tripped up when I booked YCD-YVR-YLW-YYC, which departs YCD at the same time as the YCD-YYZ. Now those are conflicting bookings, and I wouldn't be surprised if it cancelled YCD-YYZ as a result of that conflict (and given it's J0 and I have no intention of flying it in Y, I was willing to live with that). That redeye had been in place for a day or two, and got cancelled within 12 hours of me booking the YCD-YYC itinerary. This is speculation for the moment, as I haven't yet been able to find out which PNR was flagged as conflicting.
But why it would think a YYC-YYZ redeye would conflict with that, I don't know...
