It's what I keep saying: it's economy class of just a couple of decades ago, maybe a geological length of time in the airline industry but not for me. I find it dreadful along with the whole service concept on LH these days. I curse the day Air Berlin went bankrupt, immediately turning LH into a de facto monopoly with service levels dropping to those of BA. What I don't understand is why easyJet was such a total failure on German domestic routes. I was really hoping that would provide enough competition to prevent LH dropping to the levels of UA and BA.
