Between the clusters of what can currently go wrong at both LAX and SEA, I'd just take the earlier flight and chill in a lounge or two, maybe 3, have a bite, a few adult beverages, catch up on a bit of work or more likely read something, and not stress.
I will never forget a flight of many years ago, when I was seriously delayed, but I arrived at my connecting SEA gate before the door closed (and the gate agent should have seen I could have made the connecting flight) only to learn that the GA gave away my paid F seat to an upgrade, and offered me a Y seat for my transcon flight. I declined, and had AS send me back home, and refund my entire ticket.
Between the LAX gate and ramp situation and the SEA gate and ramp situation ... don't press your luck. Besides, when are your proposed travels? If they are for anything past next week, you can expect at least one schedule change between now and then, and will have a lot of flexibility if you need to change what AS proposes.
