History:
March 5, 2021 -- new baby born
March 17, 2021 -- applied for new passport at post office, standard processing
April 1, 2021 -- status shows "In Process"
June, 2021 -- cancelled international trip (no passport for baby, plus never-ending lockdowns...)
August 1, 2021 -- status still shows "In Process"
August 20, 2021 -- planning to move to another state
August 18 -- status still "in Process" -- it has been FIVE FULL MONTHS!! This is clearly well beyond the already unreasonable 18 weeks currently promised.
We set up USPS mail forwarding. Does anyone have experience with forwarded passports?
