I often rent from LGA/JFK and even during this last year, there is often a decent number of Premier Selection cars available early in the early morning (6-8 AM) - I have *never*, however, been allowed to take one of the premier vehicles without paying the upgrade fee (which is discounted for Executive Elite, but still a bit steep for the top cars e.g. BMW X7 is $75/day per the sticker).

Has anyone received these upgrades for free recently? Any tips on how to score one?
