Went to DEN on August 12th. Apparently a short power bump occured shortly before landing and wrecked havoc on the Hertz lot.
At least 60-70 people waiting for cars at the Ultimate Choice lot with a paper list of who showed up first to get people their cars. Lots of confusion on where to wait to hear your name being called, first they were calling inside, then they randomly switched to calling names outside.
There was nothing in the PC/UC lots available aside from a few premium upgrade suvs, I've never seen an airport rental facility that empty before. According to the staff, they couldn't get cleaned cars out? Who knows the real reason, but a few hours of waiting gave us a low mileage Chevy Equinox.
