Glad it worked out for you but I still think it should've been 29K at check-in (or even lower) as these are unsold biz seats which, if not taken up in the next few hours before take-off will fly empty anyway (zero revenue for EY). In most other cases products in similar position would be sold at a deep discount.
That would encourage passengers to wait until the last minute in anticipation of a bargain and airlines know this. They have worked out that they're better off not giving these last minute bargains as it's better for them in the long run.
