From personal experience, I can say that call center jobs are not something many people want, let alone enjoy.
Your productivity is tracked down to the minute. Your boss can secretly spy on everything you say without your knowledge. You get reprimanded if you need to go offline to fix something someone else screwed up. And, you can't even get up and go to the bathroom without permission.
Add in the fact that an entire generation (or more?) now prefers to text instead of making a simple phone call and it's no wonder why companies can't fill call center jobs.
Frankly. I don't think there's any amount you could pay me to ever work in that environment again.
