They have a restaurant-grade Nespresso machine but no milk. (If you can put soft drinks in the fridge, why not milk?)
As to the check-in experience, there was no dedicated line for TSA pre-check but the second time I raised this with TSOs, they allowed me to put my shoes back on and skip the body scanner.
There was only one counter for Sky Priority with a short wait since only one person was ahead of us. I can see how this would be a problem, though.
I don't know about AA clubs so I cannot comment.
The HVAC in the lounge (indeed the whole terminal) can be be adjusted but sometimes it seems to take a while. And we have had some hot weather lately so maybe it was not adjusted correctly. I'm sorry you found it unacceptably warm.
There is no dedicated line for TSA-PRE in T1 but if you inform the TSA agent when your boarding card and passport are scanned, TSA is supposed to stamp your BP and inform you to tell you to advise the agents as you bags are security screened and you go through the metal detector or scanner. If you have TSA-PRE you can leave your shoes on and small liquids in carryon. Electronics like laptops, tablets and phones must be placed on plastic trays. Hopefully this will change.
We have more agents returning to work and we always prioritize Sky Priority. But in order to get flights out on time sometimes the waits at checkin for Sky Priority and Economy lines are longer than anyone wants.
