I just got off the phone with them. Looking at my receipt, the $122 bundle for extra legroom + free checked bag is listed only for my return trip. They gave the impression in the offer that it’s for the whole trip. Why would I pay $122 for a one-way bundle whose individual charges (Economy Plus seat at $49, checked bag at $35) add up to less than that?

I got the agent to refund the extra $49 they charged me for an Economy Plus seat on one outbound flight. But I still have to pay an additional $35 outbound checked bag fee that the bundle should have covered. I’m 1 for 2 in getting United to honor their offer. No more bundles for me.
