Lack of communication is a specialty at AA. Unfortunately, you're on your own and AA will often post totally unrealistic times. Most paxs would have no clue that no way that's gonna happen. When AA doesn't know they just tell you anything and the GA won't usually explain that departure time isn't going to happen.
