Recently completed a 3 night stay here. The hotel is a new build and opened in December 2020. My rate was an absolute bargain. Around £130/US$180/660AED for 3 nights.

The hotel is located in the Al Mankhool area of Dubai, not far from Al Seef and Dubai Creek. It's about a 10 minute walk (more tolerable in the heat if you cut through the mall) from Burjuman Metro station with it's direct link to Dubai Airport and Dubai attractions.

Lobby:

I booked the cheapest room. There was no pre-arrival upgrade in the app, however I noticed (the computer monitor was at a good angle!) when I arrived the front desk that the agent upgraded me to a King Executive Room. I asked him if there was anywhere to do laundry at the hotel and he said no and said it was more of an "American thing" to have those facilities serve service. We then got talking about the service differences between Hilton hotels in different countries and he told me he'd read about the F&B credit in the US. Anyway after about 5 minutes of Hilton smalltalk I noticed he went back in and upgraded me further to a King Panoramic Corner Suite. Very nice guy who told me he was relatively new and worked at Hilton hotels in Turkey before.

My corner room was pretty big with a seperate living area, bedroom and walk-in wardrobe area. There was a smaller toilet room in addition to the main bathroom. There was no bath but there was a massive oversized shower cubicle. My only complaint about the room was an unpleasant drain like smell, although fortunately this wasn't very noticeable in the bedroom.

There are two pools, one on the mezzanine level and one on the 19th floor. Not sure if it was coincidence or by rule, but there were always lots of kids in the mezzanine level pool, with the roof pool being adults only - at least when I was using the facilities. The roof pool also has more of a relaxing atmosphere. They have cabanas on the roof chargeable at I think 50AED but not sure if that's hourly or what. They have a whole 4 sunloungers for free use.

Rooftop pool:

Lower pool. Sorry for quality, lots of people around:

There's a gym. That's as much as I know about gyms!

F&B/lounge

There is, or I should say, will be a lounge here on the 19th floor.. But it's not open yet. Not sure why not but it looks fully furnished and as ready as it could be.

The lounge entrance:

In lieu of lounge access, those that could have gone in get a voucher for a main course and 3 drinks. It's redeemable in the lobby café only, which has a focus on Italian style cuisine albeit with a limited menu. The food was good though and plenty sufficient for a evening meal. The hotel is dry.. not sure if this is temporary or permanent so those 3 drinks can be coffee/tea/soda/juice etc. Those 3 drinks all have to be taken at once too.. I caused a bit of controversy by asking if I could have a coffee in the afternoon and then come back for another drink and my meal in the evening!

Complimentary meals in lieu of lounge access:

Breakfast is taken in the Spice Tree restaurant, which was decent enough.

For those wishing to eat outside the hotel, Burjuman Mall is a short distance away with restaurants and a foodcourt.

Overall a very good stay and I would most certainly go back!
