The other night, I had dinner with a friend and their friend, who works in Card Marketing for Amex. I asked him about the Centurion Card's qualification. He told me what the requirements were (we all know) and that they do make exceptions. For instance if a card holder has charge $75K to $100K for 5 plus consecutive years that would be one of those exception. He also told me that they love all those crazy stories of folks trying to qualify for the card. You cant buy publicity like that, he stated.
