I concur: I was able to combine multiple traditional (non-residual) FFCs on a dummy booking. It looks like UA has made some behind-the-scenes changes to try to consolidate the two FFC forms. In my case, none were partially-used tickets. I suspect (hope?) that partially-used tickets would fail during application. This is probably going to be extremely confusing -- I'm guessing that some will work and others won't and it'll be tough to tell why.

I had one credit that couldn't be used -- it appears to be out of sync, and I'll probably have to call when I actually want to use that credit. (I can't even use it through the standard flight-change flow). It was the non-refundable residual left over from applying a change to a refundable ticket.
