If I canceled the ticket completely, would I wind up with a ffc that must be used by both of us, or can it be separate, or can I use the entire ffc myself?
Also, would it be possible to split the ticket and remove the companion but retain the ffc for myself, while using the existing pnr alone?
The FFC belongs to the traveller, not the purchaser.

The only real way for the purchaser to get the funds is for a refund situation to occur.

In the past, you could reschedule the companion's FFC for a cheap ticket and get an ETC f the difference for your use but now you get a residual FFC which is also restricted to the passenger's reuse.
