I recently learned that Admirals Club access for your family traveling with you gets cut off when your kids turn 18. However, Alaska Lounge membership includes children traveling with you up to 21. Do the "age" rules applies based on the lounge you visit or the membership type? In other words, if I switch from an AC membership to an AL membership, are my kids 18-21 allowed to enter with me in an Admirals Club?

If so, I am thinking that might be a pretty good reason to switch. As far as I can tell, the cost different is marginal, and the access rules are the same.
