On a related note, Merrill (BoA investment arm) has the following tiers that they will use in communications at times. Note that currently these do *not* correspond to the Preferred Rewards tiers but that may be what they are aligning. I received an email this week that refers to one of these names as to my relationship with Merrill.
Same here-- I'm a self directed Merrill Edge client, not under Wealth Management, and I've noticed the same designation at times. I received an e-mail last week with a survey request that addressed me by that designation, and I've noticed the rare times I've had to call in, I am greeted that way... however like others I have never been given any formal information on what any of the tiers mean.
