If you cancel then you do indeed get the points back plus all the cash element less the admin fee.

If that is your prefered option then I would indeed wait until close to travel to see if the flight is cancelled because if they cancel you can have a full refund with no fees

Re the voucher it comprises both the points and cash elements of the booking and they can't be divorced.
