I have the opposite problem My profile state "smoking" room and I ALWAYS get stuck in a non-smoking room. I think I got a smoking room once, and it smelled worse than an ashtray.

No matter what I try, it's always non-smoking for me and I end up either smoking on the balcony (my preferred location) or changing rooms if there's no balcony.

Reserve the smoking room, you'll probably get a non-smoking one if you have anywhere near my luck .
