I'm considering this card as a way to maximize travel spend, specifically cruises. Now that the Premier no longer gives 3x for cruises (and Prestige no longer being available), my only way to get more than 2x on cruise spend is via CSR - but I'm strongly considering downgrading that card due to the AF hike. The cruises I usually take usually require a deposit of $250-450 per person, after which it would be easy to pay $500/month until the cruise is payed for (or less if I put other travel expenses on this card in a particular month). Also, it's not a big deal if I don't use the card in some months given that the card has no AF.

For now I am debating between applying for this card now/soon or waiting until next year (24+ months after my last TYP bonus) and applying for another Premier (followed by PCing my current Premier to Custom). Thoughts/ideas on any of this would be appreciated!
