This. OT, but I was really disappointed to see Apple basically trash its whole "privacy" facade by adding the photo hash scanning on everyone's iPhone pictures. Oh sure, they did it in the name of "saving the children", but the reality is, now that governments know Apple has backdoored its own devices, it's only a matter of time before it's abused. Apparently Apple is also allowing <30 pieces of child porn before they sound the alarm...what?!. They're also being matched against known CSAM hashes, so it is useless for new pictures...and they were nice enough to provide these deets in advance so the pedos can just go further underground. Slow clap Apple.
