If I'm a betting man, I'm betting it has to do with anticipated higher paid demand around the holidays. Just a guess. Or perhaps they are holding back inventory in that time frame, waiting to see what demand is like, and perhaps might then free up some reward nights if paid demand is soft? Je ne sais pas....
