This isn't intentional because we were looking at something like PDX-JFK. PDX-JFK direct flight for example is operating MWF on my end, while my friend in China sees TuThSat on his end. OP is entitled to get a refund of fare difference for rebooking one day earlier due to IT bug from AS end.
