IT Issue: Incorrect Date Displayed When Searching Flight From Asia (or Day+1 Country)

So to sum up, I spoke for over an hour with a manager level CS rep from AlaskaAir about an IT/system bug that I identified (and was affected by when making a booking) and I was accused of lying and felt overall mistreated in the entire process.

The IT issue essentially gives incorrect booking dates to the one you've selected in your reservation on AS's website for people booking outside the US and perhaps in a time zone that is 1 day ahead of US Pacific time.

It's frustrating because I made all my bookings just to find out the flights were 1 day past what I wanted. Pricing seems to be impacted greatly as well as the prices they have in their system is completely different to what I see on my side.

The CS rep I called with basically was saying I didn't how to book via their website and I was using a bad browser. She said that she had worked there for 22 years and never had issues and that she spoke with people all already the world and Alaskaair as a global airline would never have this kind of issue.

Well I sent them a recorded video of the IT/system bug as good gesture. Just felt mistreated and got terrible service (I ultimately had to pay more for booking a new ticket on the date I originally wanted). No compensation or anything. Pretty poor customer service IMO.

Does filing a formal complaint even make a difference in these kind of situations?
