Bumping this thread to note that iSakura restored NHK streaming a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely love their service. They automatically DVR everything aired within the last couple of weeks so it's easy to catch up on programs whenever you want to. Lots of CS channels offered with movies, sports, anime, etc. Only downside is lack of a search function; you have to poke through the schedule by channel and date to find what you want. And it is clearly legally gray-market so who knows how long it will stay online.
