Quick question.

Looking at flying Naples Italy to Boston on Air France.

I currently have an economy booking, but am looking to upgrade to business.

I paid 82,000 miles for my economy booking. The cheapest flight all in business is 235k miles on the day I want to travel and the itinerary is NAP-CDG-BOS.

However, I can book the economy ticket from NAP-CDG for 15k and the CDG-BOS leg for 127k. With AF‘s MR promotion I’d only have to transfer another 46k MR.

However, I do not want to have to collect my bags at CDG and re check in/go through security. Is linking the itinerary together so we don’t have to collect our bags something a rep can help with? Or is it impossible?
