You left out some really important details, like what date you are referring to and what the times are. If the flight is after November, then it's moot; there will be schedule changes. If you're connecting to a redeye, then it's safer, the redeye will usually wait a little bit if necessary.

Assuming you are reasonably mobile, you'll probably be ok. DL doesn't sell things that are likely to fail. And neither flight will use a bus gate. I personally would probably avoid it, just because I like my travel to be stress-free. But, as I said, you and your bag will probably make it.
