I have gotten 50% while my friend got 40%.

There is an interesting clause which indicates as follows:
"Bonus Points purchase offer may change for each points purchase transaction you make during the promotion period."

I am wondering if after the first purchase, the % is dynamic and will either change higher or lower than the current level for the next purchase during this promotion period?
