Thanks, yeah it makes sense because technically I'm not really connecting a flight but rather it's like I'm going out of HKG and just coming back to the airport right? One thing that I thought of though, if my flight from MNL - HKG - YYZ falls in the same day, do I need to get my bag from the carousel, go to customs then check-in again? It'll be a bit hassle if that's the case lol.
