I am used to Homewoods charging a pet cleaning fee, but I actually encountered one near an airport in New York state that also charged a per night fee for any nights after the first. It didn't show on the reservation page but it showed as "other information" on the hotel's page under the pet policy. I'm not sure the incremental cost to the hotel if a pet stays two nights versus one, so I have a feeling this is a revenue generator. Ironically, they forgot to add the pet fee to my bill the last time.
