Reviving this thread---next month I'll need a pet-friendly hotel (preferably a hilton). Don't mind paying the fee, but do most hotels actually weigh the dogs to see if they are under the weight limit? Just curious how strictly that is enforced.

When I used to occasionally take my dog to Hilton’s a few years back they never weighed him ( although he was quite small ) they also nearly always comped the pet charge too.
