That lounge is one of the ones that, if I'm not with my partner that likes to get as much "value" as possible from the FF benefits, I actively avoid.
I'll pop in, and grab any food/coffee, use the bathroom facilities & then leave. Unless I need a table to do some work on, I'd rather hang out in the terminal with tonnes of natural light, large windows and a great view of the tarmac versus sitting in a dark, often-overly-crowded lounge. It's not Air NZ's fault that their lounge has to sit on that side of the terminal, but it's just an example imo of how just because you can use FF benefits, doesn't mean you necessarily should.
