Generally NHST&T will arrange for you to use core NHS resources in this scenario, which I imagine tends to be more useful that a trip to the Tower. If you are vaccinated and not symptomatic then NHST&T won't suggest this unless some other factor applies (e.g. someone else tests positive on a day2 test elsewhere on the aircraft).
I've got this issue now .. my Day 2 from Expert Medicals hasn't showed up and Day 2 is essentially over now so guess they won't be showing up ( no idea if I should expect a dispatch note or anything but haven't gotten one )
Fully jabbed, not sick and coming from Green so I doubt anyone will care much, but I'll post here if they do contact me and what they say !
