I believe the FCT is reopening soon and that LH F onboard is pretty much pre-covid service. Also, EK J is not offer dine on demand but you need to request it on LH F IIRC; just something to keep in mind if that matters. Never used to bother me but I've been flying QR J recently and DoD is pretty convenient. 1500 euros roundtrip doesnt seem too bad for the upgrade and you can luxuriate in the FCT for the layover. Bedding on LH will be better but IFE on EK is always outstanding.
