Spending now on flights in 2022 won’t help with 2022 GS qualification… you have to fly the flights before the spend counts otherwise ppl would buy $100K of refundable tickets, get GS, and then cancel.

so much unknown about travel in 2022 (re status qualification for 2023) that no strategic planning for travel/qualification (in 2022) makes sense right now. Depending on the next 4 months we could see another PQP promotion in Q1 or not…
