Stayed at the Doubletree Suites Austin over the weekend. At check in I added my fiancé's name to the record. Breakfast is a buffet that costs $15 and it's pretty good though the lack of choice means it's annoying you're forced to be out of pocket.

My emailed folio did not have the breakfast credit on it. I went to talk to the front desk and they tried to only give me $12. I said I gave my partner's name at check in and the manager reluctantly made it $24. Two adults and a kid worth of buffet was $40.64 with tip. The second day of the trip I went out for local coffee and pastries and this was a much better use of my money.
