To SQ, many rules only half apply as we all know. They are their own entity and one would almost think Star membership was there only for their benefit (which it is) and not anyone else's..... Of course, they resisted the courtship of Star for years (much to TG's happiness) and only relented relatively late - perhaps with the real threat of QF and CX on the neighbourhood, and I suspect with their investment in NZ (at the time 25% or so) and interest in AN, which was unfortunately thwarted.

EK is like SQ was in the 90's....
