I recently visited a packed CLT airport and noticed that I was just about the only one dressed for work (long pants, polo...)...and it wasn't a weekend. I've also noticed previously outrageous fares on all airlines to currently-popular tourist destinations, as well as rental cars and hotels, dropping next month. Same dates - just dropping as we get closer. I think that gives us an idea of who is flying.
Not going to disagree and this is likely very accurate, but I can tell you despite traveling for work, I can’t think of a single time where I would have been wearing professional attire on the plane.
