Wow... Am I reading/interpreting that correctly? Based on the UA contract ALPA has posted (which ends at 2017)... at $197.01/hr for a 73G/A319 CA (the smallest AC in the contract UA mainline actually flies) at longevity step 1 that's a $2500-and-change bonus? 777/787 CA at step 12 (234.78) a bit over $3600? (FOs for the same AC and step are $939 and $2472 respectively)... that's certainly a bit more of a bonus than a vacation day and $50, yikes! No wonder pilot vaccination rates are as high as they are.
