Chucking random end of Oct dates (20-27) in I see;

$555 PE, $1980 J LAX-LHR
$883 PE, $2380 J LHR-LAX

50-60k Avios to save ~$3k feels pretty good value to me. I thought it was fairly widely held opinion that PE to J is the best use.
