The hotel car park was closed as of a few months ago and was being used by NHS vehicles. Staff on our last stay mentioned they didn’t think it was coming back, but it may be that things have changed now, but certainly the plan was for it to be Q Park only. They kept the mention of the £20 self parking on the site throughout, without it being available,

i only used it once a few years ago and it was hard to get a midsize car in there with other vehicles in place.
