No. you have to fly the first segment within 1 year from the original ticket issuing date.
The overall ticket validity will change when the first segment is flown (i.e. 1 year from the first flight).
Piggybacking this question, so I have RT OZ J booked with ANA miles for the fall that definitely does not look like it's possible at this point (I had hope the 2 week quarantine to S Korea would have been dropped by now). So if say my outbound is Sept 1st 2021, then I can call in to change the booking for free up to 355 days out from 9/1? Originally I thought I would have to just cancel and eat the 3k fee per pax. It would be nice if I can at least change the flight to next spring or fall for one last hurrah before I actually cancel the trip for good.
