Hi all, gonna jump in here and ask for a suggestion. Have not stayed at many of the Marriott YYZ-area hotels, but looking for an option for an earli-ish flight, and don’t want to trek in from the city in the morning.

I realize the Sheraton Gateway is the most convenient due to the distance (flying out of T1, but given it’s just the airport train, still the easiest option). But at pretty much double the price of anything else, don’t know that the convenience is necessarily worth it. I can take a shuttle.

any thoughts on the best-area Bonvoy hotel in the area these days? I’ve stayed at the Regular Marriott YYZ - several years ago when we got way delayed and so arrived > midnight. It seemed fairly average Marriott - so no reason I wouldn’t stay there again, but also no reason to specifically go back.

I see folks have commented on the Four Points, but Im confused about which one. I haven’t done a ton of research, but was looking at potentially doing either the Four Points or Element - the one where both are in the same building. At a similar price point, I’m leaning toward the Element, since the standard rooms seem to be bigger (~400 sq ft. vs. ~250, IIRC). Is there any reason to pick one over the other? Better Bonvoy options out there?

also, does anyone know what the free breakfast is at the Element - is it hot, just grab & go these days, etc. (never stayed at an Element before). I was also considering a breakfast rate at Four Points - so wonder what is on offer there. My other major concern is transportation to the airport. One (or maybe both) said the shuttle was temporarily suspended - is this really the case? Is this the hotel that is walkable to the terminal? If so, how long is the walk?
