I'll be checking a bike box. On AA this is actually easier than regular luggage as you go to the self serve kiosk, print the stickers, put them on, and take the bike box directly to oversize / TSA with no waiting in line. Is this the same on DL with a separate room / drop off for oversize or will I need to wait in line? If waiting is required - what's the general experience around 6:30a mid-week?

Can I opt to check bags at TBIT or only at T2?
