This is exactly what happened to me, so I created a new trip on the VeriFly app with the name spelled exactly as is on the AA Reservation, but my COVID test was denied because the name now doesn't match what is on my COVID test results. I sent VeriFly an email. Not the end of the world, but a PITA none-the-less.
